The Harmony collection, a stellar series well-regarded by connoisseurs and watch fans alike, has been unveiled by Vacheron Constantin on its 260th Anniversary. It is a fitting series to a celebrated milestone, created as authentic watch sculptures that showcase sophisticated, technical engineering. The timepieces included in the range were housed inside a rare, cushion-shaped case which stars pure graphic lines. Now, after the limited series has supported the launch of the collection, the Manufacture is now introducing new models equipped with various in-house calibers, exclusively developed for the chronograph, dual time and tourbillon complications. A breathtaking Harmony completes the calendar model, and is housed with a surprising new twist, joining the ranks of the other similarly precious timepieces, all awarded by the prestigious Hallmark of Geneva.

Small is sublime. The elegance of Harmony chronograph found in a smaller model which deploys a unique, marvelous charm. It is clad in 18k pink gold cushion-shaped case that expands up to 37mm wide, making it suited for a man or a woman’s wrist. It comes with various versions, and the one with diamond-set bezel, dedicated to the females, glimmers with high-quality diamonds which altogether totals to 1.2 carats. It is powered by a manual-winding Caliber 1142, beating at a frequency of 3Hz. This movement has been equipped with one of the most well-regarded complications, the chronograph. An upgrade from its predecessor, this new caliber has been approved by the Hallmark of Geneva, matching its tall standards with a high frequency design that increases the balance wheel’s shock resistance. The movement promises a 48-hour power reserve, exhibiting elegance in the architecture of gears. Who would not adorn the refined details such as the Maltese cross within the column wheel, comprised of 164 hand-decorated components that drives all of the watches functions?

The Harmony collection is true to its name. It promises simplicity and sophistication, marrying the brand’s tradition with cutting edge technologies. And now, with the development of the self-winding 2460 DT, the watch range is raised to a whole new level. Aside from the powerful complication is a highly intelligent dual time display, with a dedicated subdial to the night and day features. This caliber is made to power five different models: two elegant men’s version in a variety of white and pink gold, smaller models for both genders in a non-gemset pink gold variation, and a ladies’ version with white or pink gold cases embellished with a diamond-set bezel.
