Rado is proud to serve as the Official Timekeeper at the Swiss Indoors once again in 2018 – now in its fifth year running. Basel plays host to the tournament from the 20th – 28th of October 2018. It’s the third-largest indoor tournament on the ATP World Tour, forming part of the end-of-season.

Featuring four of the world’s top seven players, the dream line-up led to a rush on ticket sales for this years tournament. The 2018 event will be played in the newly inaugurated St. Jakobshalle. Replacing the 43 year old original, the new St. Jakobshalle was two years in the making.

Rado will take its place on court with corner clocks in the shape of the HyperChrome to measure every second of every match. Visitors to the tournament can also visit the Rado booth, where they can discover the tennis-inspired HyperChrome Match Point as well as other eye-catching models from the brand’s collection.

HyperChrome Match Point

The HyperChrome Match Point Limited Edition is the official watch at the Swiss Indoors Basel. The sporty 45 mm automatic chronograph is presented in scratchresistant matt plasma high-tech ceramic and looks just as good in a courtside box or in the stands as it does on court. It also features a shot clock countdown timing function, which is a great feature for tennis fans on the edge of their seats or tennis players looking to improve their game. After finishing one point, set the chronograph going. As the red-tipped seconds hand approaches the red zone, it’s time to play again. The scale is marked for 20 seconds for major tournaments and 25 seconds for standard ATP or WTA tournaments.
