ONLY WATCH, the charity fundraiser for research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, world renowned and organized every two years at the initiative of the Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies (AMM), has raised CHF 10,776,500 (€ 9,289,434).

The 7th edition of Only Watch was held on November 11th, in Geneva, in the presence of the watchmaking brands’ representatives, collectors and philanthropists, alongside 350 supporters in the room and many more bidders and participants online and on the phone. The 50 lots composed of unique watches and exceptional experiences were auctioned by Christie’s to bidders from 45 different countries.

I would like to dedicate this edition of Only Watch to Paul Pettavino who left us a year ago and who gave us all the energy to make this event the success that it is today. The way Paul lived his life was an example and should be a reflection on all of us as it has already been through this wonderful project.

We might not all be researchers, but I think we all have collectively the power to change things for generations to come. I am very honoured and happy to have supported this project since the beginning, as I know many of you have, and I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This new extraordinary result will continue to accelerate research and give hope to patients suffering from this severe condition.”
