Hublot celebrates a special country with a special edition watch. Known for its exclusive releases inspired by many of the world's best personalities, may it be celebrities, sportsmen, music band and artists, the brand pays attention to landmarks and places in which has made a significant dent to its heart. Through the past years, this prominent luxury watchmaker has done several watches which honors different cities and countries in the Middle East. This release is no exception.

The latest from its Classic Fusion is a watch called The Island, which is meant to highlight the collaboration between Hublot and Bahrain Jewellery Centre, its partner in creating delicate looking timepieces. Fusing tradition with innovation, Hublot successfully manages to develop a luxury watch that truly speaks of Bahrain's natural qualities and colors. The entire construction reflects touches which resembles the flag of Bahrain, with many of its red stripes, and of its entire thirty-three island area which is illustrated at the case back glass.

The Island is comprised of a self-winding, automatic movement that is manufactured in-house. It is dabbed in majestic red tones, striking a contrast with the brushed and polished titanium round case that extends to 45mm. Sapphire glass covers the entire face, which boasts of a simple design: metallic indices tell the hour, with an aperture at 3 o'clock in a black square window. The Hublot signature name is stamped right below 12 o'clock, while hours, minutes and seconds can be easily depicted through the minimalist dial.

Handsomely screwed down to guarantee durability, the watch also promises 50m water resistance. It is completed with a beautiful alligator rubberized strap in deep red, which can be worn securely with a deployment buckle in titanium. Overall, the watch shines in beautiful tones of red and metal, enough to capture one’s delight in this very symbolic design.

This special edition watch was launched in a full day event held in Manama, which easily took the attention of the press, customers and collectors who chanced to see the limited edition timepiece in a friendly setting. Guests had the opportunity to discover other Hublot Baselworld items that are being toured in the Middle East. The brand is happy to present the Bahrain-inspired watch to its partners, who have been working with them since 1981. This watch is dubbed as "another great milestone" in their partnership. The Island is a limited edition watch that will only be available in numbered 33 pieces and are sold exclusively in Bahrain.
