Event Details

Rado is delighted to announce its partnership with the WTA Ladies Open Biel Bienne. The tournament takes place from April 8–16, 2017, in the new tennis arena in Biel.

As the largest women's tennis tournament in Switzerland, the Ladies Open Biel Bienne will become a major annual event in the Swiss sporting calendar. And because it is one of the last indoor tournaments of spring, it guarantees an attractive list of participating players. The new tennis arena in Biel will play host to the Ladies Open. The Swiss Tennis event and training facility has capacity for 2,500 spectators. Rado is the official timekeeper with its striking corner clocks, which count every second of the tournament's exciting matches.

The new Rado HyperChrome Match Point

Rado enjoys a long history in the tennis world. Now the Swiss watchmaker presents an exclusive timekeeper that once again shows the company's dedication to the sport.

The new Rado HyperChrome Match Point is limited to a run of 999 units and doesn't just look beautiful when you're out on the court.

This tennis-inspired wristwatch is the successor to the original HyperChrome Match Point. The new model has the same stylish design and sporty nuances of the original, but has an updated colour scheme and features new details. The blue dial, for example, contains three stacked sub-dials for seconds, minutes and hours. And just like points are counted in tennis, the seconds counter has markings at 00, 15 and 40, while the minutes counter has a mark for 30. A net-like design on the chronograph hour counter adds an extra tennis-themed touch.
