Since 2000, de Grisogono has also made a name for itself in the world of watchmaking. A first chapter of a watchmaking story entitled Instrumento N° Uno. A watch collection with a powerful character – featuring Fawaz Gruosi’s singular take on the tonneau-shaped case – imbued with a strong and unmistakable identity. Equipped with a mechanical self-winding movement, Instrumento N° Uno hosts two complications: a dual-time display and a calendar with an oversized date display at 7:30 on the dial. Its dial bears stylised applied de Grisogono numerals and its crown is set with the emblematic black diamond that sparked the early success of the Maison. In 2015, Instrumento N° Uno has been given an elegant facelift, enhanced by a number of aesthetical and technical improvements, achieving even greater heights of elegance. A collection that stands among the most recognised and admired 20th century designs.
