To Bulgari, the truest of beauty cannot be captured in a single moment; it must be continually recreated into different visions that satisfy time–gloriously exalted, or partially tamed. Since the debut of its fine, jewelry sets, Bulgari has been reinterpreting beauty into wearable forms that exude the undeniable charm of women of character. The Rome-based manufacture pays a tribute to the elegant, contemporary females in the world, in a form of a beautiful watch–the Diva's Dream.

The Diva's Dream line has long been established as a brilliant range of creations inspired from a cosmopolitan whimsy. One shape prominent above all was the fan, the very symbol of the entire collection. It must be mentioned that the Caracalla Baths were adorned by fans from walls to ceilings, testifying the well-favored lifestyle of the Romans in 216 BC and beyond. It is only natural that Bulgari conveys this cultural aesthetic to one of its best line of watches, invoking ancestral knowledge with their very own contemporary aesthetics.

In the latest edition of the Diva are the Tourbillon Skeleton models, each set with 24 brilliant cut diamonds upon the 37mm case. The mechanical flair of the tourbillon is nothing less than remarkable, but wait until one gazes upon the wonderful depiction of nature upon the dial. Clad in either pink gold or white colors, the Diva's Dream Tourbillon highlights an artisan-made garden with lush foliage and a brightly colored parrot in delicate enameling. This design can only be produced by a complex discipline that Bulgari has achieved with perfection, thanks to its High Jewelry experience. The relief and contrast from the hand-crafted micro painting showcases their mastery of light and shade, using more than a dozen of various colors combined through 20 operations.

This is only the surface. See the remarkable fan-shaped bracelet lugs and the openwork design. Inside, the shimmering reflections glide along the beautiful skeleton work, in which the elements of the movement create a joyful imagery upon each ticking of the clock. An in-house hand-wound BVL Caliber 208 runs the entire complication with 21,600 vph and a 64-hour power reserve. The bridges and plates are all hammered with the radiance of gold, chamfered at the edges and grained surfaces. All these operations are achieved by hand. Due to the laborious work, the dials are produced in strictly limited editions of 50 pieces for each version. The watch can be worn with either a red or blue alligator leather strap, depending on the model.
